The History of Our Logo
The origin
The TAKA Logo is inspired by the kamon (family crest) of the Maruyama family, passed down through generations for over 200 years.
The meaning
In Japanese culture, a kamon represents the history, values, and identity of a family. For generations, the Maruyama chef family has been associated with hospitality, craftsmanship, and the tradition of bringing people together around the table.
The central circle symbolizes unity and connection, while the four shapes surrounding it represent the values that continue to guide TAKA today:
Harmony
Respect
Gratitude
Hospitality
Our commitment
More than a symbol, this emblem reflects our commitment to the Japanese spirit of omotenashi and to creating memorable experiences for each guest.
